Ingredients
20large strawberries
3ouncescream cheesesoftened
2tablespoonsfinely chopped walnuts or pecans
1 ½tablespoonspowdered sugar
1teaspoonorange liqueurGrand Marnier, optional, or orange zest
Instructions
Dice 2 of the large strawberries into to small pieces.
With the other 18 berries, cut a thin slice off the stem end of the berries, forming a base for the berry to stand on.
Cut each strawberry in four wedges, starting at pointed ends and cutting to, but not through, stem ends.
Beat cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy. Stir in diced strawberries, walnuts or pecans, powdered sugar and if desired orange liqueur.
Spoon or pipe about one teaspoon cream cheese mixture into each strawberry.
