Ingredients
3cupsflour
4 ½teaspoonsbaking powder
1 ½teaspoonssalt
5tablespoonssugar
¾cupbuttercut in cubes
2eggsslightly beaten
½cupmilk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400° Fahrenheit.
Combine the first four ingredients and whisk. Cut the butter into dry ingredients with a pastry cutter or two knives. (This can be pulsed in a food processor, just don’t over-process.)
Add the eggs and milk. Thoroughly incorporate.
Shape dough into individual cakes on a baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, about 15-17 minutes.
