milk

stick butter

Instructions
Sift the flour and baking powder together.
In a large mixing bowl beat the eggs until fluffy. Slowly add the sugar until incorporated.
Mix the dry ingredients with the egg and sugar batter.
In a heavy saucepan heat the milk and butter until the butter is melted. Add this milk butter mixture to the batter.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Divide batter evenly between two 9-inch cake pans or three 9-inch cake pans, for thinner layers.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
