Deviled Eggs (Kay’s)

From the old Gold Better Homes & Garndens

Ingredients
  

  • 6 hard boiled eggs
  • ¼ cup salad dressing or mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar I use Cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard I use yellow
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • Cayenne optional
  • Paprika optional
  • OTHER OPTIONS INCLUDE:
  • Horseradish
  • Sliced black olives
  • Green olives
  • Anchovies
  • Parsley
  • Chopped onions or chives
  • Flaked sea food
  • Crumbled crispy cooked bacon

Instructions
 

  • Have the hard cooked eggs; gently remove yolks and mash or blend with desired combination of seasonings. Refill egg whites.

Notes

I prefer to cut a tiny bit off the top and bottom of the egg before cutting them in half. They stand up better and I think they look cute.
