Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Whisk flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl.
Beat butter and brown sugar in a large bowl at medium speed for one minute or until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla until blended. At low speed, beat in flour mixture just until blended. Stir in chocolate. Drop scant 2 tablespoons dough per cookie 3-inches apart on baking sheets.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned and edges are slightly firm, but centers feel soft when lightly touched. Cool completely on wire rack.
