BBQ BRISKET

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup hot water
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons salad oil
  • 4 garlic cloves crushed
  • 3-5 lbs. fresh beef brisket
  • Your favorite prepared BBQ sauce

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients and marinade brisket overnight, covered. Bake at 275° covered with foil for 4-5 hours.
  • 45 minutes before done, pour off some grease and marinade; and pour prepared BBQ sauce over meat. Return to oven, covered.
  • When slicing be sure to cut across the grain of meat. Excellent with baked potatoes, tossed salad, corn and beverage.
