Bacon and Water Chestnut Tidbits

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ pound bacon slices
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Drain water chestnuts, rinse in cold water and pat dry period roll each water chestnut and brown sugar. Cut bacon slices in half and wrap each half around a water chestnut and secure with a toothpick. Sprinkle with soy sauce. Bake in shallow baking dish and bake, turning occasionally, until bacon is crisp, about 20 to 30 minutes. Drain and serve once.
