Deviled Eggs (Kay’s)
From the old Gold Better Homes & Garndens
Ingredients
- 6 hard boiled eggs
- ¼ cup salad dressing or mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon vinegar I use Cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard I use yellow
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Dash of pepper
- Cayenne optional
- Paprika optional
- OTHER OPTIONS INCLUDE:
- Horseradish
- Sliced black olives
- Green olives
- Anchovies
- Parsley
- Chopped onions or chives
- Flaked sea food
- Crumbled crispy cooked bacon
Instructions
- Have the hard cooked eggs; gently remove yolks and mash or blend with desired combination of seasonings. Refill egg whites.
Notes
I prefer to cut a tiny bit off the top and bottom of the egg before cutting them in half. They stand up better and I think they look cute.
