Pork Chops & Baked Apples
Ingredients
- 4 Pork chops
- 2 cups Wheat Chex crushed
- Salt and black pepper
- 4-6 apples peeled, cored and sliced
- Fresh lemon juice
- 1-2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 box spoonbread mix follow instructions on box for ingredients and direction
Instructions
- FOR THE CHOPS
- Preheat oven to 350
- Mash up the wheat Chex in a zip lock bag and add salt and pepper. Coat pork chops liberally with chex mix and place on a piece of foil sprayed with baking spray.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes or until chops are done
- BAKED APPLES
- Combine all ingredients and put in a baking dish with a lid.
- Bake in oven with chops. Remove lid after 30 minutes and continue cooking for 15 minutes
