Marshmallow Apple Crisp

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups apples peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • ¾ cup flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 ½ cups miniature marshmallows

Instructions
 

  • Preheat and oven to 350°F
  • Combine all dry ingredients except the marshmallows and a mixing bowl. Cut the butter into the dry mixture.
  • Place the apples and water in a baking dish. Crumble the mixture over the apples.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Remove the crisp from oven and turn the oven to broil. Sprinkle the marshmallows on top of the crisp mixture. Place in broiler until lightly browned.

Notes

**** Do not walk away while the marshmallows are browning. They can burn very quickly if not watched. ******
