Marshmallow Apple Crisp
Ingredients
- 4 cups apples peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup water
- ¾ cup flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup butter
- 1 ½ cups miniature marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat and oven to 350°F
- Combine all dry ingredients except the marshmallows and a mixing bowl. Cut the butter into the dry mixture.
- Place the apples and water in a baking dish. Crumble the mixture over the apples.
- Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes.
- Remove the crisp from oven and turn the oven to broil. Sprinkle the marshmallows on top of the crisp mixture. Place in broiler until lightly browned.
Notes
**** Do not walk away while the marshmallows are browning. They can burn very quickly if not watched. ******
